Q: How long does the audit and consultation
process take?
A: 1 to 3 weeks, depending on the size and number of sites to be included in the audit.

Q: What if we only want to consider certain locations within the site e.g. wards?
A: No problem. The Kärcher Cleaning Management System is bespoke and thus can be tailored to any single area or combination of locations within a Trust.

Q: What range of equipment can be included in the programme?
A: Kärcher has an extensive range of cleaning machines suitable for application in the healthcare environment. It includes scrubber driers, polishers, dry and wet vacuums, steam cleaners, high-pressure washers and many more. Click on the link to the Kärcher main site for more information.

Q: How long does the trial period last?
A: The length of trial depends on the scale of the Kärcher Cleaning Management System being proposed. We'll work with you to decide how long the trial period needs to be.

Q: How long does staff training take?
A: Kärcher machines are user friendly and most people can learn how to use a machine in less than half an hour.

Q: Is machine maintenance and repair included in
the training?
A: No. Kärcher machines are backed by a comprehensive maintenance support programme, delivered by Kärcher’s own service engineers.

Q: What if, after the trial, we decide we do not wish
to proceed?
A: We are confident that the trial will convince you of the benefits of the programme. If however you do not wish to proceed, we will simply remove the loaned kit and no costs will be charged to your Trust.

Q: If following the trial we retain the equipment will the Warranty start from the period of trial or period of commitment to purchase?
A: The full warranty period will commence at point of purchase, not during the trial period.

Q: What finance options do Kärcher offer?
A: We tailor a financial package according to the needs and circumstances of the individual Trust. Options can include buy-back, lease purchase and payment schedules, your Kärcher advisor will be happy to discuss the most appropriate form of financing with you.

Q: How long does the full roll out take?
A: It depends on the scale of the programme. Kärcher will work with you to ensure roll out is done in sufficient time. Additional training and consultation will be available on an ongoing basis as the Kärcher Cleaning Management System is a partnership between Kärcher and your Trust.
